My experience with The Johnson Firm has been a blessing. Everyone has been very professional and supportive in getting Financial and Medical directives as well as HIPPA documents. They reviewed my previous documents and financial status and made recommendations based on what would need to go through probate and we got that covered as well . Working with this firm has given me peace of mind for the future and that I have everything covered for my beneficiaries. Great team, I highly recommend using this firm and plan to use them in the future as needs arise.

I had my Will, Power of Attorney, Trust, Medical Power of Attorney and HIPAA Authorization recently done and updated by this Law Firm. I was very impressed with the job done and the time spent with me explaining everything , very relaxed and comfortable feeling with the Law Firm and all of their people. They gave me great advice on all the choices of decisions I needed to make. I would definitely recommend this Firm. By the way I have used this Law Firm since 2006 and have never been unhappy with anything they did for me.

I chose this law firm through the Dallas Bar Association. I checked for any disciplinary actions and there were none. I needed advice on will vs trust. There was no charge or obligation for an introductory meeting. I was very impressed with the clarity in which things were explained. Also in the firm is a second generation lawyer who specializes in elder care. Everything was handled in a timely manor with reasonable fees. I strongly recommend this firm. There was no “strong arm” tactics. I feel my future legal needs are well in order.

We scheduled the in-person review very quickly after the phone interviews and they were also pleasant and very productive. Richard skillfully, professionally and tactfully guided and architected the updating and expanding of my old out-dated California Estate Plan. As I get closer to the game buzzer, I want to more effectively protect my expanded family of children, grandchildren and their spouses. We updated all elements to current Texas-specific laws. I included my daughter in the process. She attended Richard’s and Marcie’s occasional seminars with me. I retain membership in the Family Care Plan even though I had few or no legal interactions with the firm in the past two years. When my daughter becomes “the new me” I want her to know and have confidence in the team who will support and guide her through a stressful time. Together we interviewed other estate attorneys. I have worked with Richard, Marcie and the Johnson Firm for over a decade as they have guided me through and helped me maintain one of the most important aspects of my life, that being estate planning. Their motto of "Our family helping yours" could not be more accurate. None of this was intuitive to me and there was a lot of new terminology. That said, Richard was extremely patient and helpful in explaining any and all issues, sometimes several times!! I was never made to feel that any of my questions were stupid. All of the staff are exceptional. They helped up with wills, living will, irrevocable trusts and VA benefits for our parents and ourselves. Any questions we ever had they were extremely responsive and helpful. This past year helping me resolve my mother’s trust they have all gone above and beyond. They walked me through everything step by step providing additional forms and advice anytime I needed it. It was an emotional time but they were with me any time I needed them.
